Thirty years of local print. A homepage that finally shows all of it.
Concepts of Ink has outfitted Bakersfield since 1996 — apparel, embroidery, signs, and full-color print. We gave a beloved local shop a bold, catalog-style website — brand, copywriting, and code — that turns one walk-in into a complete brand rollout, and a phone call into a ready-to-price quote.
A Bakersfield institution the internet had never met.
Since 1996, Concepts of Ink has printed the shirts, stitched the logos, wrapped the trucks, and built the signs for Kern County — a real shop at 335 California Avenue with a wall of local work and nearly three decades of five-star word of mouth.
Online, that reputation didn't exist. There was no way to see the breadth of what they do, no way to start an order, and nothing that matched the quality coming off the press. The buyers they win now — schools, restaurants, contractors, churches, event organizers — size you up online before they ever pick up the phone.
"Outfit the team. Promote the brand. Look legit."
Most print shops sell equipment — press counts and spec sheets. Concepts of Ink's real advantage is range: one shop that takes a rough idea and turns it into shirts, menus, banners, vehicle graphics, and a logo to tie it all together.
We wrote the whole site around that promise — plain, confident language aimed at the person who just needs the job done right, on time, and close to home. One order becomes a complete brand rollout, all under one roof.
Tees, hoodies, event shirts, team apparel, uniforms.
Polos, hats, jackets, bags, stitched logo gear.
Vinyl, yard signs, monuments, vehicle graphics.
Cards, flyers, menus, brochures, stickers.
Art cleanup and print-ready design from a rough idea.
A catalog homepage that sells the whole shop.
Instead of a brochure, the homepage works like a storefront. A product wall up top shows what they make; a "recent work across Kern County" gallery proves it with real local jobs; and category tiles let a buyer start from the item they already have in mind. Every card is a photograph first and a label second — the actual trucks, menus, signs, and tees that have come out of the shop, doing the selling.
From "I need 50 shirts" to a priced quote.
Buyers who know their blank get real apparel starting points — Bella+Canvas, Comfort Colors, Independent — with honest from-pricing. Everyone else gets the in-house promise the shop is known for: proof, print, pickup, with a local team that answers when you call. The conversion centerpiece is a Build my order flow that asks for exactly what the shop needs to quote — project type, quantity, sizes, deadline, and artwork status — with no cart, no payment, no friction.
The whole catalog, thumb-friendly.
Most of Bakersfield is searching from a phone. The full experience restacks for mobile — product wall, work gallery, services, and starting points — with the same bold type and every quote path one thumb-tap away.

"People knew the work when they walked in the door. Now the website does that before they get there."
