Case study — The Fence Guys

The best crew in town, easiest to find.

The Fence Guys had a skilled crew, 45 five-star reviews, and an Instagram full of finished work — and were still invisible on Google, losing homeowners to national lead-gen sites that sell their number to the highest bidder. We built a service-rich, estimate-first website and the local SEO to put the real local crew ahead of the middlemen.

The challenge

Great work, invisible where it counts.

Searches for "fence company Bakersfield" went to national lead-gen sites that sell a homeowner's phone number to the highest bidder — while the crew actually doing the best work in town had no way to be found. Our job: put the real local crew ahead of the middlemen, with a site that ranks for every service they offer and turns a visit into a call, a text, or an estimate request. The project became a model for our contractor website work, where service depth, local proof, and a clear estimate path have to work together.

What we built

Everything a homeowner needs to say yes.

Twelve dedicated service pages, their strongest asset — 45 real Google reviews — loaded live onto the homepage, and craft details written where homeowners can see them: deeper footings for sandy soil, galvanized hardware, cleanup included.

A page for every service — wood, vinyl, Trex, hog panel, pool, gates and more, each targeting its own local search 45 real Google reviews on the homepage — real names, real projects Craft details as copy — the reasons a fence lasts, made visible Estimate-first contact — call, text, or a short form; every path ends in a free on-site estimate

Gates as the showpiece

The work that sets them apart, leading the site.

Cedar-and-iron driveway gates and ornamental ironwork are what separate The Fence Guys from fence-only crews — so we made them the hero instead of burying them in a services list. Every material choice on the site is written to answer the question homeowners actually ask: will this last?

Paid social

Ads built to stop the scroll.

A matching set of Instagram ads in the site's voice — made to turn a Bakersfield feed into an estimate request.
