Case study — The Light Guys

Booked out before the season starts.

The Light Guys have hung Bakersfield's Christmas lights since 2008 — over a thousand jobs, insured crews, design through take-down and storage. But a seasonal business lives or dies in a brutal booking window: search in October, and you win the job in one visit or lose it for the year.

The challenge

Eight weeks to win a whole year.

The site had one job: capture that moment of holiday intent and turn it into a quote request — instantly, and mostly on phones. Miss the October–December search spike and the season is gone.

What we built

Built for the phone in a gloved hand.

Deep midnight blue, warm gold, falling snow, and a string of glowing bulbs across the hero — the site feels like the finished product. And the copy sounds like the guys you'd actually hire: "Our lighting elves do the ladders, tangles and clean-up — you just flip the switch."

A night sky you can feel — the design sells the result "Get my free quote" riding the nav, the hero, and a persistent mobile action bar with tap-to-call A brand voice with personality — friendly, local, confident Structured data and service-area pages targeting the seasonal search spike

Proof before the quote

The details do the closing.

A gallery of real installs — rooflines, wreaths, string lighting, and commercial storefronts — proves the work before the quote form ever loads. The commercial side keeps crews working and the brand visible well beyond the neighborhood cul-de-sac.
