The finished website, interactive

Find your situation.
Take the next step.

This is the working site, not a mockup. Browse the practice areas, switch to Español, and open the four-step consultation on desktop or on a phone. Submissions are disabled inside the preview.

The challenge

A broad legal site still needs to feel easy to navigate.

People arriving at a law firm’s website need to recognize their situation, find the right information, and know what to do next, without having to understand the firm’s internal organization first.

Our work was to turn a large amount of content into a clear, calm, responsive route through the site.

Navigation systemEnglish + SpanishGuided consultation
The guided consultation popup we designed: Let’s talk about your case, four quick questions, and step one of four, What can we help you with, with legal matter choices from car accident to other personal injury
Guided consultation flow. A four-step first contact gives the firm useful case context while helping a visitor choose the closest fit with confidence.

Navigation system

Every practice area,
one clear path.
No maze.

We built a navigation system that lets visitors browse the firm’s areas of practice, people, resources, and local information while keeping a consultation action visible at every level.

The firm’s consultation dashboard concept on a desktop display: new consultations, active cases, upcoming appointments, Spanish inquiries, a consultations trend chart, and recent consultations with inquiry type, language, status, and assignment
Where the consultations land. A dashboard concept for the firm’s side of the four-step flow: every inquiry arrives with its matter type, language, and status, ready to assign.
Voice and type

Only Trust Local.

A serif for the firm’s name and headlines, a plain grotesque for everything a visitor has to read quickly, and one red for the action that matters.

  • Body quiet grotesque
  • Labels tracked small caps

What we built

One system for finding the right information
and taking the next step.

The work connected the site’s content architecture, navigation, responsive behavior, language paths, and consultation entry point into one coherent experience. Every interface decision has a job: help a visitor move from an unfamiliar legal situation to a useful page, a confident next click, or a structured first conversation.

The guided consultation, step 1 of 4: What can we help with, with Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Auto Accident, and Other, beside the Kern County courthouse and a client quote
Mobile navigation

Every section, one thumb.

The full-screen mobile navigation we designed for Chain | Cohn | Clark, with firm sections and consultation actions
Practice areas, people, resources, and local information in one full-screen menu, with the consultation action kept in view.
Mobile first action

Only Trust Local, in your hand.

The Chain | Cohn | Clark mobile homepage with the Only Trust Local message and the free consultation action
The same message and the same first action as the desktop hero, restacked for a phone.
NavigationOne structured system.Practice areas, people, resources, and local information, organized so the right page is one clear path away.
LanguageEnglish and Spanish. The site keeps essential information and next steps consistent for both language paths.
First contactA four-step consultation. The guided first contact gives the firm useful context before the follow-up conversation.
Every screenDesktop and mobile. The key paths remain clear whether someone is browsing on a large screen or a phone.
